Redefining Wealth for the Modern World

Having served clients as a wealth advisor for over a decade, I’ve been recognized as one of America’s Top Next Generation Wealth Advisors by Forbes and one of The Most Influential Wealth Managers in Los Angeles by the Los Angeles Business Journal.

I hold advanced technical credentials in financial planning, investing and special needs consulting (CFP®, CIMA® and ChSNC®), as well as certifications that address the human side of money (CeFT®, RLP®).

My unique approach combines finance and creativity to bridge the traditional, technical elements of finance with the modern, holistic, human side.

Audience members have told me that for the first time in their lives, they discovered that the world of finance could be creative and even fun.

Money Roots

Discover and rewrite unhelpful beliefs to gain financial clarity and confidence

Available as: Workshop, or lunch-n-learn

Ideal audience: Professional services, executives, women's events

Best used when: Revenue stalled for no apparent reason, recent change in culture or leadership, clients don't implement your sound advice

Description:

We all have invisible beliefs that directly affect our ability to make clear and confident financial decisions.

Over years of working with clients, I noticed that our relationship to money is a lot like a tree. The beliefs we have around money live beneath the soil. They’re the roots. That’s why, at Created, we call them “money roots”: they inform what will grow, and most importantly, what can grow.

There are a number of factors that inform and influence someone’s experience with money, especially lessons learned from our parents/guardians and environment (culture, media, community, etc.).

In order to make better financial decisions, we need to be conscious of these influences. That way we can be sure they are aligned with the goals we want to achieve. And in this interactive presentation, your attendees will do precisely that.

Attendees will:

  • Visually map their relationship to money.

  • Identify beliefs that are unhelpful to their goals.

  • Rewrite those unhelpful beliefs in order to make financial decisions from a more rooted and positive place.

Panels & Podcasts

I am available to speak on panels covering:

  • Financial life planning

  • Navigating financial and personal transitions

  • Rewriting your personal money story

I’ve also prepared custom presentations on topics such as:

  • Finance for writers (Writers Guild of America West)

  • Goal-based investing (CFA Institute)

  • Money and meaning (USC and Pepperdine University)

Created Wealth Salons

In the enlightenment era, women educated each other and spread ideas by hosting private gatherings in their homes. These became known as ‘salons.’

A salon is an engaged, explorative conversation with an esteemed group of acquaintances in pursuit of knowledge and fellowship.

With Created, I currently lead Wealth Salons both online and in private and public gardens to help people expand the freedom and fulfillment in their life.

Salon themes include:

  • Investing with Impact

  • Planting Your Legacy
